In the event the DJ is unable to perform during the entire agreed upon time period, either due to travel, equipment or other unforeseen difficulty, liability is limited to providing the client with a) compensation performance time equal to the time lacking or b) a refund of $_20.00_ for each 15 minute time period of the agreed time that the DJ did not perform. Except for situations where the performance is incomplete due to a fault of the DJ service, the client will be expected to pay the total rate from agreed start time to stop time.

In order to prevent liability resulting from accidental injury to any individual attending this performance, DJ service reserves the right to deny any guest access to recordings or any equipment owned or leased by DJ service.  In the event the DJ feels a hazardous situation exists, it will be the client’s responsibility, upon notification, to take action to remedy the situation. If no action is taken, the DJ may in extreme instances cease operation until the situation is resolved.  The DJ service assumes no liability for injuries to the clients or guests.

The DJ service encourages the client to request specific music selections for play during this performance and to submit requests at least seven days before the performance.  The DJ service will make every effort to play all requests but cannot be held responsible if specific selections are not played due to lack of availability.  Unless otherwise specified by client, the remaining music will be selected based on popularity and demographic appeal.

A DJ/MC will be available throughout the performance to make announcements on behalf of the client, or will make available to the client the sound system for the purpose of general announcements.  The DJ service reserves the right to make occasional announcements of behalf of its service.
